Goa government is setting up a crafts village in Saluli Dam in Sanguem Taluk of South Goa. The total investment envisaged is around ₹ 100 million and is likely to be completed by March 2023. The craft village to be known as Kunbi Handloom Crafts Village will get official grant from the ministry of textiles, Government of India.
The project will be a big boon to artisans and weavers in Goa besides attracting tourists.
