Goa to set up 50 charging stations across the state

Government is Goa is planning to improve its charging infrastructure for electrical vehicles. In June 2022, the government has invited bids to set up 50 charging stations in Goa on design, built, operate, finance and transfer basis (DBOFT).

The state government intends to set up electric vehicles charging stations at commercial buildings, like malls, offices, shopping complexes, cinema halls, and restaurants, among others, besides also institutional buildings, like hospitals, colleges, group housing societies, and petroleum outlets.
