Union government has allotted ₹ 4,970 million towards development of NIT Campus in Goa. The new campus which is being set up in Cuncolim will have a 6.0 MW solar power plant to meet its electricity needs. Besides, it will be the greenest building with RCC blocks , trees etc.,
The project is being handled by the Goa Public Works Department. Currently, NIT Campus of Goa is functioning in Farmagudi
